Zhengheng Power won the “Excellent Response Award” of New Power Technology in 2022

Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd., Shanghai Diesel Engine Factory, Shanghai Wusong Machinery Factory, etc.), founded in 1947, is now affiliated to SAIC Motor Corporation.

New Power Technology has a national certified enterprise technology center and post-doctoral workstation, a standard quality management system for passenger cars and advanced automated and digital production lines. At present, it has achieved a new pattern of integrated development of “heavy truck+diesel engine” two major industrial sectors, providing technologically advanced products for customers of commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, ships and generator sets at home and abroad.

Cooperation history

Zhengheng Power has long adhered to the concept of customer-centered. Under the harsh and harsh market environment of the 2022 campaign, it has developed new products, guaranteed delivery, promoted quality, and successfully achieved the requirements issued by New Power Technology. This award of the “Excellent Response Award” to Zhengheng Power is an recognition of the cooperation in 2022 and a spur to the work in 2023.

Since the cooperation between Zhengheng and New Power, it has successively developed 2.5L, 2.0T, 6.7L, 4L and 12L cylinder block assemblies, blanks and gear chambers;

In 2010, it developed the VM155 and VM158 cylinder block assemblies to New Power (formerly Shangchai) and implemented the mass production and delivery of the VM158 blank, carrying Datong pickup trucks and light passenger cars.

In February 2021, New Power (formerly Shanghai Diesel) fixed-point Zhengheng SCD20 cylinder block (top ten engines) was delivered in mass production, carrying SAIC MAXUS light passenger and developing the same 48V light hybrid and MIFA cylinder block in the same year to achieve mass production;

In November 2020, the new power (original Shangchai) fixed point Zhengheng 7H cylinder block and cylinder head (7L) were delivered in mass production, mainly carrying agricultural machinery, generators, construction machinery and other types;

In May 2021, the 7H+and 4H+cylinder assemblies will be developed to New Power (formerly Shangchai) to achieve technical reserves and advance market layout, and 4H+will be delivered in mass production.

In 2022, a 12VK gear room blank with a unit weight of about 380 kg was developed to New Power, which refreshed the casting category and technological challenges of Tonglin Factory, mainly in the field of ship engines and generators.

The deep cooperation between the two sides has enabled Zhengheng to accumulate a lot of experience in the commercial field and product pedigree of diesel engines.
