Zhengheng Power was honored with the “Technology Leadership Award” by Great Wall Motor

Recently, the Great Wall Motor Supplier Conference was grandly held. #Chengdu Zhengheng Power Co., Ltd. won the Technology Leadership Award (Technological Innovation) presented by the conference, thanks to its core technological innovation strength, cutting-edge process breakthroughs, and deep collaborative research and development achievements. This is another high recognition of #Zhengheng Power’s technological research and development capabilities and innovation achievement transformation ability by Great Wall Motor, following the “Best Support Award”. It is also a vivid testimony to the years of joint efforts and collaboration between the two parties to create industry benchmarks.

Since establishing cooperation with Great Wall Motor in 2019, #Zhengheng Power has always adhered to the principle of “technology as the core, innovation as the soul, and quality as the foundation”, deeply integrating into Great Wall Motor’s power research and development system. From automotive engines to flagship motorcycle power, it has empowered Great Wall Motor’s power matrix upgrade across the entire chain and become its core strategic technology partner.

Technological leadership stems from continuous deep cultivation. In the collaborative research and development with Great Wall Motor, Zhengheng Power has achieved industry-leading advancements in multiple core technologies, empowering the power upgrades of multiple benchmark models: the Great Wall 3.0T V6 engine has been awarded the “China Heart” Top Ten Engines of the Year.

We have overcome the dual challenges of low-pressure casting and precision machining, providing one-stop services for Great Wall Motor’s self-developed 4.0T V8 engine, from cylinder block blanks to finished products. We are the first to apply #plasma spraying technology for cylinder bores, replacing traditional cylinder liner processes. This has achieved weight reduction, lower fuel consumption, and significantly improved wear resistance of the cylinder block, helping China’s large-displacement power technology achieve a breakthrough.

Deeply involved in the Great Wall Soul Motorcycle project, we have developed the world’s first horizontally opposed #eight-cylinder engine block, utilizing #linerless plasma spraying technology. This design balances lightweight construction with high reliability, ushering in a new era of motorcycle power.

From supplying cylinder blocks in batches ranging from 1.5T, 2.0T, 2.4T, 3.0T to 4.0T, and evolving from traditional powertrain iterations to forward-looking layouts for hybrid and high-performance powertrains, Zhengheng Power and Great Wall Motor have always maintained a close collaboration model of synchronized resonance and joint research and development. Relying on the CNAS-accredited national laboratory, # plasma spraying technology center, and # 3D printing center, # Zhengheng Power has built an innovative capability across the entire industry chain of “design – mold – casting – machining – testing”, quickly responding to Great Wall Motor’s R&D needs, efficiently overcoming technical bottlenecks, and ensuring high precision, high reliability, and high consistency in the core of every new powertrain.
