Zhengheng Power Collaborates with Xihua University to Hold a University-Enterprise Cooperation Exchange Symposium
On May 26, 2025, the University-Enterprise Cooperation Exchange Symposium between the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University and Chengdu Zhengheng Power Co., Ltd. was successfully held at Zhengheng Power. The two sides carried out in-depth discussions on topics such as automated production line upgrading, technical R&D cooperation, and talent cultivation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the technical team of Zhengheng Power accompanied experts from Xihua University on a field visit to the fully automated production line for SERES engine cylinder blocks. As a newly built intelligent manufacturing production line of Zhengheng Power, the improvement of its production efficiency and process optimization became the key discussion direction for both sides. In the special exchange session, the leaders of Zhengheng Power systematically expounded the current status of post-production engineering, explained the two key technical needs of intelligent transformation of deburring robots and improvement of the accuracy of automatic detection equipment, and emphasized the core goal of achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement through technological innovation. General Manager Zeng, the factory director, and General Manager Huang from the Technology Center further supplemented the strategic positioning of the automation upgrading project and proposed a development vision of building a collaborative innovation system integrating industry, education, and research.
Leaders of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University stated that they will focus on directions such as industrial robot system integration and precision detection technology to promote joint research by universities and enterprises. The two sides also reached a consensus on the “First Batch of Targeted Talent Training Plan”, planning to cultivate composite technical talents meeting the needs of advanced manufacturing through customized curriculum development, joint construction of training bases, and other means.
This symposium marks the entry of the cooperation between the university and the enterprise into a new stage. In the future, relying on the scientific research advantages of Xihua University and the industrial practice platform of Zhengheng Power, the two sides will accelerate key technology R&D and achievement transformation, jointly explore an innovative path for deep integration of industry, education, and research in the field of intelligent manufacturing, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of regional advanced manufacturing.
