Zhengheng Power and Xihua University Jointly Establish a Practical Education Base
On October 10, 2025, the “Practical Education Base” awarding ceremony and the launch of 2026 graduate recruitment, jointly held by Chengdu Zhengheng Power Co., Ltd. and the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University, concluded successfully. This event marks that since the two parties launched school-enterprise cooperation in May this year, they have taken a substantial step forward in integrating industry and education as well as collaborative talent cultivation, entering a new stage of joint construction, shared benefits and joint development.

Teachers and students from the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University conducted an in-depth visit to the enterprise’s modern production workshop. The students were able to observe the production process and automated equipment up close, gaining an intuitive and in-depth understanding of how classroom theories connect with industrial practices.

At the symposium, Zeng Xin, Director of Zhengheng Machinery Processing Plant, extended a warm welcome to the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University and expressed a firm willingness to deepen school-enterprise joint training and promote the collaborative development of industry, university and research.
In his speech, Li Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University, fully affirmed Zhengheng Power’s strength and forward-looking layout in the field of advanced manufacturing. He pointed out that the establishment of the Practical Education Base is an important platform to promote students from the classroom to the industry and from theory to practice. It is hoped that taking this cooperation as an opportunity, resources will be further integrated to jointly cultivate high-quality engineering talents that meet the needs of the industry.

The highlight of the event was the grand ceremony of awarding the plaque and appointment letters. The “Zhengheng Power – Practical Education Base of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University” was officially unveiled. At the same time, Huang Yong, Chief Engineer of Zhengheng Power, He Qiang, Technical Director, and Zhang Yong, Director of the Engineering Department, were appointed as “Industry Mentors” of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xihua University. This initiative directly introduces the enterprise’s cutting-edge technical knowledge and rich engineering experience into the talent cultivation process, deepening the connotation of industry-education integration.
