The Review of Zhengheng Power Scholarship Concludes Successfully
To actively fulfill corporate social responsibility, deepen the integration of industry and education, and contribute to the cultivation of high-quality skilled talents, the “Zhengheng Power” Scholarship, established by Zhengheng Power at Sichuan Boiler Senior Technical School, successfully held the review activity for the 2024-2025 academic year in October. This event not only demonstrates the company’s continuous investment in education but also showcases the important achievements of school-enterprise cooperation in jointly empowering students’ growth.
On the day of the review, representatives from Zhengheng Power and school leaders attended the event together. School leaders gave a detailed interpretation of the scholarship implementation plan. The multi-dimensional selection criteria, covering academic performance, practical operation ability, comprehensive quality, and innovative achievements, ensured the fairness and professionalism of the review.
In the personal presentation session, 15 candidates recommended by various departments took the stage in turn and delivered speeches focusing on their learning experiences, skill practice, and enterprise internships. Guided by the belief that “the sharpness of a sword comes from grinding,” the students continuously honed their professional abilities in various skill competitions. Their growth trajectories and spirit of striving resonated widely among the teachers and students present.
In the concluding speech, the representative from Zhengheng Power fully affirmed the professional literacy and comprehensive abilities demonstrated by the students in the presentations and defenses. She pointed out that the candidates not only excelled in academics and skills but also showed good professional ethics and a sense of responsibility during their participation in enterprise practices. This is precisely the original intention of establishing the “Zhengheng Power” Scholarship — to encourage and cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents that meet the requirements of the new era.
Taking excellence as a mirror, students should set lofty ideals, maintain enthusiasm for striving, continuously improve their skills, and become pillars of society and enterprises in the future. After a comprehensive evaluation by the review panel, a total of 1 first prize winner, 3 second prize winners, and 11 third prize winners were selected (see the attached list for details).
The successful holding of this “Zhengheng Power” Scholarship review activity is an important practice of Zhengheng Power in continuously promoting school-enterprise cooperation and paying attention to the development of vocational education.
