Awarding Ceremony of “CNC Iron Army” Skill Competition and Opening Ceremony of Apprenticeship Class of Cheng Heng Power held in Modern Vocational College
On May 16th, the award ceremony of “CNC Iron Army” skill competition and the opening ceremony of apprentice class of Zhengheng Power was held in Modern Vocational College. This is the third consecutive year that Zhengheng Power and Sichuan Modern Vocational College join hands to carry out school-enterprise cooperation activities, aiming at selecting excellent talents through the skill competition and conveying more high-quality numerical control technological talents for the manufacturing industry through the cultivation mode of apprentice class.
The “CNC Iron Army” skill competition attracted many CNC majors to participate in enthusiastically. The competition is a theoretical knowledge and practice two links, comprehensive investigation of the players’ professionalism and practical ability.
After a fierce competition, one first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes were finally selected.
After the award ceremony, the third phase of “CNC Iron Army” apprenticeship class of Zhengheng Power officially started. Zhenhengheng power company will send senior engineers and skill experts to be the mentor, and the school professional teachers together to form the teaching team, for the apprentices to customize the course system. Apprentices will receive systematic and professional CNC skills training under the mode of combining theoretical learning and practical operation, laying a solid foundation for future career development.
Lei Zhichuan, the minister of manufacturing department of Zhengheng Power, made a speech at the opening ceremony, he said: “Zhengheng Power has always been committed to cultivating high-quality skilled personnel, and hopes that through the cultivation mode of apprenticeship class, it can provide students with a learning platform that is closely integrated with the actual needs of enterprises, and help them to adapt to the future working environment better and to become the backbone of the manufacturing industry. ”
Zhengheng Power and Sichuan Modern Vocational College have carried out this activity for three consecutive years, selecting excellent talents through skill competitions and then carrying out targeted cultivation through apprenticeship classes, this mode not only meets the demand of enterprises for high-quality skilled personnel, but also provides students with a good practice platform and development opportunities.
The successful holding of this award ceremony and the opening ceremony of the apprentice class further consolidated the cooperative relationship between Zhengheng Power and Sichuan Modern Vocational College, and provided a new example of school-enterprise cooperation in educating people.
